Sergey Vlasov was born in 1961 on the Virgin Lands, but all his conscious life, as he speaks, he lived in Mezhdurechensk. The family moved to our city, when he was only 3 years old. His creative career began with 5 years, as soon as the pencil and sheet of paper have got in his hands. Parents were the first, who noticed abilities of the child and then the whole yard (he lived) did the same. The covered with drawings asphalt in a yard, drew attention of all neighbors. "Send the son to art school!" - they spoke. Parents were not in a hurry and sent the boy on a musical field. Sergey took private lessons, it was play on a bayan. "If it was not the passion to - S. M. Vlasov says, - I would become the known musician or singer". Lessons of music have not passed in vain, the author sings in municipal chorus now and also in chorus at church.
In 1968, Sergey went to school and in the same year, he entered art school. It was a first step in a creative way of the artist. Study in art school went successfully and one of teachers has advised to enter a specialized art school.
Thinking not so long, in 1978 Vlasov went to Kemerovo. In 1980, he finished specialized school there and returned to Mezhdurechensk. In same year, he was taken away in army. His creative abilities were also appreciated there. The author was engaged in registration of military pioneer camps, drew maps to military councils. Having served, he worked as the artist designer at the coal enterprises of city, but for some reasons, it was necessary to work not by a trade. In 2000, he went to work in art school, taught the graphic art. A subject, as the author says, is very complex, but interesting. Now Sergey's basic job is work as the deputy director on art part in a show room. On a personal exhibition, the author presented about 50 works. Works are made in different techniques, here painting and graphic art. The author uses a plenty of materials: a watercolor, oil paints, coal, helium feather, ink.
