A few words about the author: Alarichev A.V. was born in Mezhdurechensk. After 6 years after his birth, the family moved to live to Kirghizia. He liked to draw since the childhood. At school, he made out wall newspapers, liked to draw posters. An interest to a caricature has appeared already at that time. For participation in school exhibitions, he has received many diplomas. He finished eight classes and having solved that he was already enough adult, left the city. He dreamed to become the pilot, but after eight classes, it was impossible to enter “flying” school. Therefore, he entered mountain technical school in Osinniki; went on geological prospecting branch. On the second rate he took a great interest in speleology, each days off, with classmates, went in caves. At that time, he drew many caricatures on friends and on himself. The military service in army has appeared a creative period; Andrey Veniaminovich created a puppet theater from pap ier-mâché . In repertoire of theatre were fables, jokes. The theatre has given performances in other battalions. After military service in army, he was working by a specialty in Altai and on expedition in Kameshki. Later, with comrades, he left for Krasnoyarsk. He worked as the mechanic on excavator factory. So, then he took a great interest in jewellery art. Friends, geologists, brought from expeditions various stones, agate, jasper and he put it in advance prepared frame. Having lived in Krasnoyarsk about 10 years, the artist returned to Mezhdurechensk. Once, when the author went on a market, he has seen a set of cutters and has bought them. Since then the new creative stage in its life has begun.
Andrey Veniaminovich's works are full of original humor. The artist takes plots from life: "I went to "Crystal" (a sports complex) - it was pleasant there and it means that I take cutters, a tree and I start to create". |
